A huge thank you to those who have already paid!
Consent forms must also be returned by the end of this week. Please make sure all sections are completed — including your child’s details, emergency contacts, health information, and any other relevant notes. Thank you to everyone who has already handed these in.
Just a reminder that our students will be leaving for camp on Tuesday, 4th November, and will need to be at school by 8am. They will return on Friday, 7th November between 2:00–2:30pm.
Thank you all for your continued support — we really appreciate it!
Kia ora Parents/Caregivers,
You may have noticed work happening around our school gate. We are connecting the gate directly to the office to better manage access and, most importantly, keep our tamariki safe.
Gate Times
From Monday 10th November, the side gate will be locked at 9:30am and reopened at 2:00pm. Families will have two weeks to adjust and ensure tamariki arrive before 9:30am.
If you arrive outside these times:
Rongomai School students: call (09) 274 6055
Poetiare Preschool: call (09) 265 0244
Saithya Sai Preschool: call (09) 272 4354
A button is located at the start of the walkway (school side) for exiting the grounds.
Safety is our priority. If you have any questions, please pop in and see me.
Ngā mihi,
Sarah Faifua
Tumuaki – Rongomai School
Talofa lava Parents/Caregivers,
In previous years, we have been able to take our students to select fabric and organise a seamstress for their Samoan uniforms. Due to our current capacity, we are no longer able to manage this process through the school.
We have, however, selected a material (see attached image) for our Samoan uniforms. This fabric is available for purchase directly from Fabric Mart.
Fabric Mart
Contact person: Minh – 021 683 392
Location: Cavendish Drive
The store is holding the fabric under Rongomai School – please mention our school name and Matua Vae, and the staff will bring out the correct material for you.
Families will need to make their own arrangements with a seamstress. The uniform details are as follows:
We encourage all students to wear their Samoan uniforms proudly, representing our culture at school and at the Culture Festival on Friday 5 December.
If you have any questions, please see Matua Vae for guidance.
Fa’afetai tele lava for your ongoing support and commitment to our cultural identity.
