Enrolment Process
At Rongomai School we want to offer our students engaging, enriching, interesting, authentic and responsive learning experiences that connect to them as individuals by honouring who they are; their individuality; their interests and their passions.

Please be advised that from next week, preparation work will begin at 12–18 Rongomai Road ahead of planned demolition. This includes site surveying, safety fencing, and other setup activities.
Demolition is expected to begin shortly after, with most of the work to be completed within 10 working days. For safety reasons, please keep clear of the area while work is underway.
We’ll share further updates as timelines are confirmed.
Please take note of all the events coming up over the next few days — it’s going to be a busy but exciting week at Rongomai.
Senior Syndicate Sleepover – Wednesday 25 June
Our Year 5/6 tamariki are invited to stay overnight at school for a fun-filled evening.
Drop-off time: From 4.45pm at HTA (please note the gate will be closed at 5.15pm sharp)
What to bring:
Dinner (Wednesday) and breakfast (Thursday) will be provided. Your child must have a signed permission slip to attend.
RMHC Pyjama Day – Thursday 26 June
Everyone is encouraged to wear their pyjamas to school and bring a gold coin donation to support Ronald McDonald House Charities.
This is a great opportunity for our tamariki to give back while having some cosy fun.
Shared Lunch – Thursday 26 June
Each class will be holding a shared lunch, so please send along a plate of food for your child to contribute.
Senior families — feel free to drop off your contribution when you collect belongings from the sleepover.
Kūki 'Āirani Group Fundraiser – Final Payment Due Thursday 26 June
This Thursday is the last day to hand in your payment for the Kūki 'Āirani Group Fundraiser.
The total cost per child is $120.
You can pay via Eftpos, Cash, Paywave or Bank Transfer to the following account: 12-3021-0018-772-00. Please use your child’s name as the particulars and ‘KukiGroup’ as the reference when paying online.
Early Finish – Friday 27 June
School will finish at 12.00pm sharp on Friday.
The walking bus will leave at 11.45am.
Please make sure your child is picked up on time and has adequate supervision for the rest of the day.
