Mōrena Rongomai Whānau,

As we approach the end of the year, here are a few important reminders:

• School finishes at 12.00pm tomorrow, 16 December. Please ensure your tamariki are collected on time and have appropriate supervision for the remainder of the day.
• Uniform and stationery purchases, as well as enrolments, will be available from 20 January, between 8.00am and 2.30pm.
• School will begin on Wednesday, 28 January 2026.
• Summer Reading Programme: If your child is part of this programme and has chosen not to receive all of their books on the final day of term, summer reading books will be delivered to your home during the holidays

As always, to all our Rongomaites, we wish you a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday break. Please remember to wear sunscreen and stay well hydrated when spending time in the sun. We look forward to welcoming you all back next year ????

Kia Ora Rongomai Whānau,

We’ll be holding a Fun Day next Monday, 8th December! Please make sure your child brings a change of clothes and a towel, as we’ll have water activities. They’re also welcome to bring along any water toys.

A reminder that tomorrow, 5th December we’ll be running a food stall with a variety of food and drinks.

All items are $6 or under. Cash only (No Eftpos or cashout available).

A friendly reminder that our annual Rongomai Cultural Festival and Prizegiving is happening this Friday, 5th December. ????

We will begin with our Cultural Festival at 9:45am, followed by a break for lunch, and then our Prizegiving ceremony.

There will be kai available for purchase, cash only. Please note that Eftpos and cash-out are not available from the office.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all there and can’t wait to celebrate the academic and cultural achievements of all our Rongomaites together.
